Netflix Cancels ‘Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’

We are saddened that it has been revealed that Netflix has canceled “Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina” and the series will come to a conclusion with part 4. The final season will consist of only eight episodes. Netflix says that the final season will begin streaming sometime in late 2020 and promises as “spooky, sexy & supernatural series finale”. Part 4 will see The Eldritch Terrors descending their way on Greendale and the coven must fight each of the Terrors, including The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness, all before facing The Void, which is “the End of All Things.” As the witches wage their war with the help of The Fright Club, Nick will also try to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart before its too late. “Working on ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ has been an incredible honor from Day One. The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a …

Mark Hamill Might Be Known As A Jedi But His Voice Will Live In Villainy Infamy

Pop Culture QuestFor forty-plus years now Mark Hamill has been a household name. Hamill’s work in Star Wars as Luke Skywalker the apprentice turned Jedi master was box office gold and inspired a generation of future storytellers including Kevin Smith, but more on that later. Mark Hamill might be known as a Jedi, but his voice has found the Darkside, and he has been making quite the impact as a voice actor. Hamill started voicing Joker all the way back in the early ’90s. The Joker is quite possibly Batman’s greatest enemy.  And fans seemed to be overjoyed to have Hamill take the voice and give it’s his take. Then in 2019 horror fans and the world alike were shocked to hear that Hamill would be the voice of Chucky. Yes, everyone’s favorite knee-high serial killer from the 80’s that scared me, and little kids everywhere. This knew Chucky was not in the same realm of the Don Mancini creation, but an entire new adaption. Fans were mixed about the new adaption but were happy to see Hamill’s name attached. Now let’s …

Song Producer Bryce Jacobs Talks Netflix’s Teen Apocalypse Dramedy “Daybreak”

By: Dan Moore Looking for a show to binge-watch this holiday season? One you might want to consider, Netflix’s teen apocalypse dramedy Daybreak.  Based on Brian Ralph’s graphic novel series of the same name, Daybreak is a genre-bending series that finds high school outcast Josh searching for his missing girlfriend Sam in post-apocalyptic Glendale, California. Joined by misfits, such as 12-year-old Angelica and Josh’s former high school bully, Wesley, now turned pacifist samurai, Josh tries to stay alive amongst the horde of Mad Max-style gangs (evil jocks, cheerleaders turned Amazon warriors), zombie-like creatures called Ghoulies, and everything else this crazy new world throws at him. One of the many unique aspects of the show worth mentioning, the musical element. Characters have to participate in a singing competition called American Ninja Idol. Think American Idol, but instead of going through to the next round, you get released to Ghoulies for dinner. The man in charge of reimaging songs from Smashing Pumpkins and Air Supply for this on-screen competition, Song Producer Bryce Jacobs.  Below Bryce gives us the inside scoop of his work …

Ian Somerhalder Chats With Us About His Highly-Anticipated Netflix Series ‘V-Wars’

We can hardly contain our excitement for the release of Netflix’s newest binge-worthy series “V-Wars” starring Ian Somerhalder as Dr. Luther Swann. In the series, which is based upon the comics by Johnathan Mayberry and Alan Robinson, Dr. Swann enters a world of untold horror when a mysterious disease transforms his best friend, Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes), into a murderous predator who feeds on other humans. As the disease spreads, society fractures into opposing camps pitting normal people against these “vampires.” Swann races against time to understand what’s happening, while Fayne rises to become the leader of the vampires. “V-Wars” is built upon many different layers and is not necessarily your typical vampire series. There are added levels of science fiction, social commentary, and human conflict. “V-Wars” will begin streaming on Netflix starting on Thursday, December 5th and will consist of ten episodes, however, to hold you over in the meantime, we caught up with series star and executive producer Ian Somerhalder to chat about the series, it’s creation, how it speaks to society as a whole and more! Speaking …
