Delaware Concealed Carry Course

Course Price : $180 + $20 range fee

This comprehensive safety course aims to provide the student with the knowledge required to safely own, carry, and shoot a firearm. It is designed to exceed Delaware’s training requirements for citizens seeking to apply for their Delaware license to carry a concealed deadly weapon.

This course will teach the proper mindset and understanding of necessary tactics to use firearms to defend home, family, and freedom.

This is a two-day course. Day One includes four hours in the classroom.

Day Two includes four hours of range time.

Required items: handgun, holster, 150 rounds of ammunition, ear and eye protection.
Lunch.
Plenty of water.

NRA Basic Pistol Course

Course Price: $125 + $25 range fee (Fee includes NRA course materials)
Course Duration: 8 hours (classroom plus range time)
The course covers the following topics:
Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling Ammunition and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting, Firing the First Shots, Scoring Targets and Selecting and Maintaining Your Pistol Continued Opportunities for Skill Development Students who complete this course will receive a NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Certificate.

Bring with you:
Notebook for taking notes, Pencils or Pens, 150 rounds of factory ammunition to be used on the range. (No reloads), Pistol, Hearing Protection, Eye Protection, For an additional fee pistol, ammo, eye and hearing protection can be provided for you. If that is the case, please inform the instructor before coming to class.

Private Range and Safety Instruction

Course Price: $90
Course Duration: 90 minute session
Add a friend or family member for an additional $50.
If you’d like help getting more familiar with your pistol or rifle, how to operate it safely, and learn what and how to practice, Kevin will spend a private session at the range with you.

Personal Firearm Selection

Course Price: $40/hour
If you’re ready to consider buying your own firearm but don’t know what to look for,
Kevin can spend time with you helping you understand what to look for, and how to choose the best firearm for you.

Delaware's Superior Court is responsible for granting Concealed Deadly Weapon Permits in Delaware after the Attorney General's Office investigates and recommends this application.
