It is with great sadness that we have learned that actor and comedian Bob Saget has passed away at the age of 65. Sources close to Saget revealed that he was found dead in his room at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida where he was currently on tour. Saget is best known for his role as widowed father Danny Tanner in the long-running family sitcom “Full House”. Saget was also the long-time host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and a successful stand-up comedian. Saget’s official cause of death has not been revealed, however, local police and fire department were called to the hotel around 4 pm EST on Sunday after hotel security discovered Saget unresponsive in his room. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Recently, Saget has been extensively touring through the state of Florida and performed what looks to be his final live performance in Jacksonville, FL on Saturday night. His tour started back in September and was slated to wrap up sometime in May 2022. Saget played the role of Danny Tanner on “Full House’ …

We have just learned that the Allman Betts Band has just been added to the amazing lineup for the upcoming 11th annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges Festival. The Allman Betts Band is comprised of sons of the three founding members of The Allman Brothers Band. The Allman Betts Band do a phenomenal job of carrying on the families musical legacy. The highly anticipated Rock, Ribs & Ridges Festival is set to take place from June 25-27 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ. The Allman Betts Band will perform on Friday June 25, replacing a scheduled performance by the Marshall Tucker Band, which has cancelled their appearance at the annual music and food festival and other upcoming performances due to unforeseen circumstances. Formed in November 2018, the Allman Betts Band includes Devon Allman (son of Gregg Allman), Duane Betts (son of Dickey Betts), and Berry Duane Oakley (son of Berry Oakley). The American rock band plays original songs along with covers of Allman Brothers songs mixed in. They have toured nationally and internationally, and have released two albums to …
Having a chance to dive into the first two episodes of the upcoming Freeform thriller series “Cruel Summer” premiering April 20th, we are already on the edge of our seats to find out just how this dark and twisty series will pan out! The series, which is set in the early 1990s, specifically 1993, 1994, and 1995, follows the story of the abduction of a popular teenage high school student and the possible involvement of one of her peers. And if you think for one second that you have any idea what is going on, guess again, as this series promises to be anything but predictable. It is impossible to say much of anything else about the plot of the series, as “Cruel Summer” is definitely a series that you want to remain as spoiler-free as possible. What we can say is that we see the character of Jeanette Turner, played exquisitely by actress Chiara Aurelia, endure some pretty dramatic personal transformations over the course of this three-year time period, which we happen to tune in upon on her birthday …
After much anticipation event organizers for San Diego Comic Con have announced the dates for their upcoming in-person event. The beloved fan convention will be taking place from November 26-28 at the San Diego Convention Center. This will be the first in-person SDCC event taking place since 2019’s convention. There will also be an online SDCC event taking place this year as well from July 23 to the 25th. There has been no official word yet on when badges for the upcoming in-person event will go on sale or what the capacity limitations will be. We can’t wait to see what the convention will have to offer and are thrilled to hear that it will be making its’ triumphant return. Organizers, as well as, the city of San Diego took a huge financial hit when San Diego Comic Con 2020 was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It is the hope of the organizers that the upcoming in-person convention will help both them and the city get back on their feet. Many local business suffered a loss of income …
The Rock is running for President, or at least Dwayne Johnson is running for President in the set up for the brand-new NBC series “Young Rock”. The series is certainly far from your ordinary run-of-the-mill sitcom, as it features a semi-autobiographical into the life of Dwayne Johnson and how he became “The Rock”. The series stars Dwayne Johnson, himself, and then three other actors portray Johnson and different stages throughout his life. Adrian Groulx plays Johnson as a kid living in Hawaii, Bradley Constant plays him as a teen in Pennsylvania who shoplifted and seemed destined to fall down the wrong path and Uli Latukefu showcases him as a University of Miami football player. Johnson bookends each episode with interviews that take place in the year 2032 with a journalist played by Randall Park as he reflects on these aspects of his life while on the campaign trail. The storylines featured in the series begin with time spent with his father, wrestler Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson, and his legendary wrestling buddies including Andre the Giant. Many people recognize and associate actor Kenan Thompson from his long (and hilarious) tenure on Saturday Night Live, as he is one of the sketch comedy shows most beloved and admired cast members. It has been absolutely amazing to sit back and watch the success of a sitcom set in a small rural Canadian town as it only continues to grow in popularity as more and more fans discover the comedic gem that is “Letterkenny”. The series, which began as a web series back in 2013 called “Letterkenny Problems” before reaching a deal with Crave TV in Canada who began airing full episodes back in 2016. The show is now on its ninth season which is currently streaming on Hulu here in the States. “Letterkenny” features star and co-creator Jared Keeso as Wayne and his friends Daryl (Nathan Dales) and Squirrelly Dan (K. Trevor Wilson). The three men represent some of the Hicks in a town of 5000 also populated by Hockey players and Skids, the Goth misfits who spend their time on video games, tech music, and meth.
