Nike Is Set To Release Freddy Krueger Inspired Air Max’s For The Halloween Season

Just in time for the Halloween season, Nike has revealed that they will be releasing a special edition of the Air Max 95. The sneakers ultra spooky design will be inspired by the “Nightmare On Elm Street” film franchise and its’ lead character Freddy Krueger. The sneaker is directly inspired by the famous brown striped sweater “Velvet Brown” and burgundy  “University Red” worn by the character. Gray is inspired by Freddy’s infamous clawed glove. The mixture of materials, colors, and style is a fantastic tribute to the maniacal, yet mythical killer. Certain details, like the drops of blood on the back of the shoe, complete the style and the reference. The sneaker is described by saying,  “The upper of the shoe is made of mesh and canvas to replicate Krueger’s sweater.
