Dr. Death Is Coming To Peacock Starring Joshua Jackson And Christian Slater

Season seven of of SeriesFest is underway. One of the highlights was a behind the scenes talk between cast and creators for the upcoming show Dr. Death which will be premiering on Peacock. The show will star Joshua Jackson, Christian Slater, and AnnaSophia Robb. Based on Wondery’s hit podcast, DR. DEATH is inspired by the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson), a rising star in the Dallas medical community. Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed. Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead. As victims piled up, two fellow physicians, neurosurgeon Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Christian Slater), as well as Dallas prosecutor Michelle Shughart (AnnaSophia Robb), set out to stop him. DR. DEATH explores the twisted mind of Dr. Duntsch and the failures of the system designed to protect the most defenseless among us. The show will be released on Peacock on July 15th on Peacock. Check out an interview with Joshua …

Kevin Can F Himself Is That Show You Always Wanted To See

Season One of Kevin Can F Himself is underway on AMC, and it is a precious gem of a show. The show is unlike anything I’ve ever seen on television, and I love it. The show stars Annie Murphy as Allison (Schitt’s Creek)  and Eric Peterson as Allison’s very annoying husband, Kevin. The show follows Allison McRoberts, a sitcom wife who escapes the prerecorded laughs and multi-camera setup famous in many American sitcoms and starts leading her own life. Every time she is away from her husband, the viewers look at what Allison feels more realistically by using a single camera setup. For everybody who has ever watched a sitcom show and thought that the characters were annoying and fake, this show is for you. Just the concept alone was enough to keep me watching. The show was created by Valerie Armstrong, who also serves as an executive producer. Check out new episodes of Kevin Can F Himself on AMC on Sunday nights.
