Claymont- The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Dollar General located in Claymont, DE.
The incident occurred on May 29, 2020 at approximately 9:09 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the Dollar General located at 333 Naamans Rd., Claymont for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was learned that the suspect approached the cash register displaying a black and silver handgun. The suspect demanded cash from the register and safe. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was described as a male who was wearing all dark clothing to include a face mask and sunglasses. The suspect was approximately 5’08” tall, and approximately 25-35 years old.
