Seaford- The Delaware State Police have arrested 20-year-old, Salena Timmons of Seaford on felony domestic-related charges.
On July 21, 2020, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to the 11000 block of Kime Circle in Seaford, DE, for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with a 36 year-old male victim (mother’s boyfriend) from Seaford, and a 40 year-old victim (mother) from Seaford, who reported their 20 year-old daughter-Salena had threatened them with a knife. The victims were having a verbal argument with Salena, and she brandished a large kitchen knife. The victims reported Salena charged at them with the knife and they both fled out of the residence. The victims ran to their neighbor’s house and contacted police. Salena located the victims inside the neighbor’s residence and she entered the house chasing them again with the knife. A physical altercation ensued on the front lawn, and Salena struck the 40 year old female victim with the blunt end of the knife on the head. Salena then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The female did not require medical attention for the injury sustained to her head.
With the assistance of Delaware State Police Aviation, Troopers located Salena on East Middlecord Circle. Troopers contacted Salena who gave a false name and resisted arrest. The knife used in the incident was located at the same place Troopers contacted Salena.
